Rosenthal Community Big Bin Event

When: Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 9 AM to 1 PM
Where: 22103 92 AVE NW (PCL Construction Offices Parking Lot)
On Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9 AM to 1 PM, the Rosenthal Community League (ERCL) will host a Rosenthal Community Bin Event in the parking lot for the Lewis Farms Rec Center construction offices located at 22103 92 AVE NW. The event may conclude earlier if all bins reach capacity.
This event is open to Rosenthal Community League members only. Membership can be purchased online.
ERCL members can take advantage of this opportunity to responsibly dispose of unwanted household items, such as furniture and yard waste. Small electronics will be recycled. Goodwill Donation Drive will be onsite accepting unwanted clothing and gently used household items.
Accepted Materials:
- Household furniture items (e.g., couches, chairs)
- Dry yard waste, including branches not exceeding 1.2 meters (4 feet) by 0.75 meters (2.5 feet) in diameter.
- Lawnmowers (please ensure all fuel has been removed)
- Scarp metal
- Small household or office electronics (e.g., computers, televisions, etc., will be recycled)
- Small household appliances (e.g. microwaves will be recycled)
- Tires
Materials Not Accepted:
- Mattresses
- Household hazardous or organic waste (please utilize the nearest Eco Station)
- Automotive waste (please utilize the nearest Eco Station)
- Animal waste (litter and carcasses)
- Commercial waste
- Florescent tubes, ballasts containing PCBs (please utilize the nearest Eco Station)
- Large appliances such as fridges, freezers, or stoves
- Lithium-ion batteries
- Pressurized tanks (propane, butane, polyurethan insulation, etc.)
- Smoke and CO2 detectors
- Wet yard waste, including sod, soil, leaves or grass clippings
The disposal of large items or unreasonable loads will be subject to the discretion of community league volunteers.
You are responsible for unloading your vehicle, so bring help if you need it.
